Just a few yards away is the charming village inn and restaurant. Nearby is Buckland House in Buckland Filleigh which regularly hosts weddings.

The North Devon and North Cornish coasts are a short drive with stunning beaches and coves ideal for surfing or walking the coastal path. Nearby there are many attractions, being ideal for golf, Tamar Lakes and Roadford Lake offer coarse and trout fishing, sailing, wind surfing and canoeing, and the leafy Tarka Trail leads walkers and cyclists through superb scenery. Dartmoor, Exmoor, Bodmin Moor and the award winning Eden Project are all easily accessible.

The owners have created a healthier environment than the normal holiday accommodation, by extensively using natural paints and varnishes.
